The day Baby Girl turned 2 months we moved into a 2 bedroom apartment in our same building. We gave up a clean remodeled apartment for a little extra space, but having a bedroom for our little girl has been well worth it.
Here is what we have to work with:
This is our kind of tiny bedroom. We're on the top floor so we have high ceilings throughout and get amazing natural light through each window. Also, check out that horrid laminate flooring that is throughout the entire apartment. We will be buying carpet remnants and covering the tile in the living room and both bedrooms.
This bathroom was the stuffs back in the day but now it is just an allover dirty white color. This was the first room we tackled (first with rags and cleaners) and it actually looks livable now.
Our long empty hallway that might remain empty because it could be too narrow for wall art. There's that awesome laminate work again.
This is our living and dining area that gets so much more natural light than is shown here. We have a small view of Lake Michigan and the rest of the views out of our other apartment windows are pretty nice too!
Here is the oh-so-stylish metal cabinet kitchen. You can't win them all.
Our entryway has a large closet for storage and we've turned that little space behind the door into our landing pad as you enter.
This is Baby Girl's room with 3 large windows. Her room is really coming along and, once we have carpet, it will be a fun and safe place for her to be.
So, for the most part, it's a lot of white with a lot of old, but we are slowly livening it up. I have quite a few projects already done that I will be showing soon.
