Waiting, waiting, waiting

The past week the hubs and I have been in Pittsburgh waiting for the arrival of my sister's 5th boy! Her due date has now come and gone, as has my husband (dang law school). I'm chillin' with the 4 cutest boys and their cute mom who is 3 days overdue hoping this boy will show us his cute face soon.

I'll be back to posting once I return to Chicago. Until then, I will be rearranging the layout of my apartment in my head (in preparation for Baby Girl) and deciding if I love the lamps I just purchased while here in Pittsburgh.

I actually believe a man lives here

Ever since seeing Monika's home tour a couple weeks ago on Glitter Guide I have not been able to get it out of my head. I loved it so much that I showed it to my husband telling him, "You would probably like to live here because it is has some manliness to it." It is definitely a perfect mix of feminine and masculine, perhaps still favoring the feminine a bit. The look is mature and natural and has a huge touch of class.

My husband and I love this hook idea for towels instead of towel bars

I love this compromise- his antlers mounted on a plaque she painted white

What a clean, but personal office space

I will never get tired of dark floors with white walls and linens

This is the perfect mix of hard and soft with the leather couch and wood coffee table, but sequin and fur pillows against white walls. So comfy looking.

How cute is this women! Another great room of masculine meets feminine. Still LOVE the idea of a chandelier in the kitchen.

I would die for an outdoor space like this. Hours everyday would be spent out here reading and lounging
